Thank you, Lord, for your healing power!!!

My Daddy, Allen, has been sick for a while, now. He's always had problems with his back, but recently developed problems with his stomach. It got so bad that he couldn't eat anything!! It just came right back up! After running some tests on him, they found that he had a blockage in his intestines & part of his small intestines was "dead". He will have surgery tomorrow to fix both. Please be praying with me that he'll come out of this surgery healthy and everything will be okay. I know that I can call on the one and ONLY Jesus Christ for his healing power.

I Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Madison has a softball tournament tomorrow 2 hours away. She has to be there at 7:00 am!!! I don't know how I'm gonna make it!! Only by the grace of God!! Be prayin' for me! I've never been to this place, and new things can be kinda scary. So, I called my Daddy. He knows all about that particular area. He clarified what "google maps" had totally confused me about!! He explained, step-by-step where to turn, how far to go, and so on. I'm so thankful that God does that for us in our own lives. When we come into His fold, he leads us down a brighter road......... destination: Heaven!! Sometimes, if we get lost, all we have to do is call on him, and he's right there to lead us back to where we need to be. Thank God for good directions!!

Somethimes, we get so busy in our every day lives that we forget to remember God. It's very easy, just stay busy, like I've done, and you'll find yourself asking God to forgive you for it! I'm so thankful that He forgives me when I've made mistakes! After all, I'm only human! I pray that I will grow closer to God, not further away. So when I realized that I wasn't walking with God every step, I quickly stopped and took a deep breath, and asked for the forgiveness only God can give! I no longer can go on without him. That's the empty feeling that I had.
